1. Pre-wash before your first use.
Always rinse new gloves in lukewarm water and let them air-dry naturally.
This activates the latex for maximum grip straight out of the bag.
2. Rinse after every session.
Don’t let mud, sand, or sweat dry into the palms — it clogs the latex and kills performance. A quick rinse and gentle squeeze (no wringing!) keeps the grip alive.
3. Air-dry, never heat-dry.
Avoid radiators, tumble dryers, or direct sunlight, heat hardens latex and ruins its tackiness. Let them dry at room temperature on a towel, palms facing up.
4. Rotate your pairs.
Pros always have match gloves and training gloves. Use your older pair for drills and keep your best set for game days — your match grip will last twice as long.
5. Store them right.
Keep slightly damp, not bone dry, in a breathable glove bag or pouch. Store palm-to-palm and avoid airtight plastic bags — latex likes airflow.
6. Accept wear as proof of performance.
Latex is soft for a reason — the tackier it feels, the faster it wears. Small tears or scuffs mean your gloves are doing their job under pressure.
